Signs of Christmas
With just over a week of school time before the holidays there are lots of signs of Christmas around the school. Mary Goodison, our school secretary, has put some lovely festive paintings on windows. We have two Christmas trees in place with decorations made by the children. There is also a beautiful crib on display in the entrance hallway. There is the aroma of evergreen as the boys in Mr.Cummings’ sixth class have made Christmas wreaths. The boys also painted the windows in the corridor of the Old Block. Carols and singing can be heard around the school as the choir members practise for the Carol Service and pupils in classes prepare their Christmas Plays. Some classes will be going ice skating next week or attending a Christmas play in the Arts Centre. Santa will even visit the school to meet the children in our Junior Classes. We will be putting photos on the CBS Blog on the website between now and the 19th December, Check it out!
Christmas Trees Available
If you haven’t organised your Christmas tree yet you might be interested in ours! They are real trees and are approx. 2.2metres in height. They will be available to collect at 2.30p.m. on Friday 19th December. Please contact the school first if you would like to take one,” first come first served!”
