There once was a boy called Fred,

Who thought his hamster was dead,

It was only asleep,

It awoke in a weep,

So he gave him some dinner instead.

There was a boy called Bond,

Who thought he lived in a pond,

There was a man from Spain,

Who had a sore back pain,

Sat down for a rest,

I WISH....

I wish I could look into the future

And hope to see peace and harmony.

I wish I could see a ceremony that would abolish all poverty.

I wish I could get rid of pollution, but there never is a solution.

I wish I could get rid of drug addiction,

But I would have to be a politician.

I wish people in Africa could have an education,

But because of segregation they have no such sensation.

I WISH...

I wish I could see the galaxy, so big and wide,

I wish I could see it; it’d fill me with pride,

I wish I could stop the slaves in poor conditions,

I wish this alerted all politicians,

I wish hearts of all people were pure,

I wish for cancer I had a cure.

I wish the world were full of joy and peace,

I wish of happiness and joy for niece,

I wish people would stop hurting animals,

I wish there was no such thing as cannibals,

I wish I could ban all drugs,

I wish I could stop all thugs.

Fireworks

Flash, flicker, flare,

Intense, ignite, impatient,

Red, reflection,

Electric, energetic,

Wet, windy, weather,

Orange, outing,

Raging, roaring,

Keep your pets indoors,

Surrounded, sizes, shapes.

I wish corruption were a thing of the past,

I wish natural resources would always last.

I wish death were out of the question,

I wish peace were not just a suggestion.

I wish everyone had equal rights,

I wish that I could stop the fights.

I wish there was a cure for cancer,

I wish that drugs were not the answer.

I wish the world were a more peaceful place,

I wish there were equality for every race.

I wish we could end the labour of every child,

I wish there was kindness towards the wild.

I wish that all this would come true,

I wish this for you and me.

I wish I could make a big decision.

I wish I could spread the word of God,

I wish I could save humanity on a rod.

I wish I could lie upon a cloud,

I wish everything wasn’t so loud.

I wish I could fly,

I wish I could follow the sun across the sky.

I wish there was world peace,

I wish I could arrest all the thieves.

I wish there was no child labour,

I wish I could be their savior.

I wish the third world wasn’t poor,

I wish teachers weren’t such a bore.

I wish I could stop global warming,

I wish wars came without warning.
