Symbols of the School
A Wall Hanging by Boys in 6th Class

This project was undertaken by our class as a cross-curricular activity involving Religion and Art. We started off using a large piece of hessian. Our teacher then drew a huge C.B.S. crest in the centre of it. Then a few boys painted the crest. The piece of hessian was then placed in a different room where groups of two or three would go down and paint around the crest, painting what they felt were their symbols of school. Different people drew different symbols of what they liked about school. For example, people painted a football pitch for sports and pikes for History. This was a great experience for us to be going to paint in groups and we hope to hang this in the church for our confirmation. For now though it is hanging on the wall outside the office for everyone to see.
