Pancakes in Ms. Cleary's Class -
Shrove Tuesday 2009

At first me
Adam and Stevo got the weighing scales and all the equipment , the
wooden spoon, pan, sieve, whisk, mixing bowl and measuring jug.
Then we got the ingredients - sugar, flour , butter , eggs and water
and milk. Then Stevo put the flour into the weighing scales and
sieved it into the mixing bowl with a pinch of salt. Then we
cracked an egg each into the bowl. Stevo went first. He cracked
the egg but when he cracked it he let some shell go in as well but
we took it out and then me and Adam put in an egg each. We mixed
the flour and eggs and Adam poured the milk in slowly while mixing.
Then we put a little bit of water in. We melted the butter in the
pan and added it to the mixture. Then we started cooking the
pancakes. Adam went first, I went second and Stevo went third and
we kept taking turns until all the mixture was gone. Me and Adam
put nutella on ours and Stevo put lemon and sugar on his. They were
beautiful. When we had eaten ours we brought a few up to sir.
