Edmund Rice Day 2009

The Feast Day of Blessed Edmund Rice occurs on May 5th.
In our school, we remember Edmund Rice on this day by holding a special Prayer Service in the school.
The Music Room is set up especially for the occasion with a statue of Blessed Edmund Rice, some candles and plants.
Each class takes turns to visit the room during the day where we read a life story of Blessed Edmund and pray for various things.
This year, the two Confirmation Classes went to Callan, the birthplace of Blessed Edmund, for their pre-Confirmation Retreat.
